VIRAL NEWS 💻

🥊 Reacher Star’s Neighborhood Fight Goes Viral
Alan Ritchson was filmed in a physical altercation with neighbor Ronnie Taylor in Brentwood, Tennessee. The response: Taylor gave two TMZ interviews. Ritchson stayed silent until Tuesday, when he posted a Napoleon quote: “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.” Police are investigating. No arrests.

🗳️ Supreme Court Could Toss Your Mail-In Ballot
The Court heard arguments on whether mail-in ballots arriving after Election Day should be discarded, even if postmarked on time. Mississippi’s five-day grace period is at stake, along with similar laws in 14 other states and D.C. Justice Kagan argued ballot deadlines have always been a state decision. The ruling comes this summer.
The irony: Trump has been calling mail-in voting corrupt and holding the shutdown hostage to pass voting restrictions. Today, per the Washington Post, he mailed in his own ballot for Florida’s special election.

:📈 Today’s Poll: Ballot Boundaries
The Supreme Court is weighing whether mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day should still count, even if they were mailed on time. At stake are grace period laws in more than a dozen states, relied on by millions of voters, including those in rural areas, the elderly, and military members overseas. A decision is expected this summer, just months before a tightly contested midterm election.
If you were on the Supreme Court, how would you rule on counting mail-in ballots that arrive after Election Day but were mailed on time?

💰 Warren Sends MrBeast a Letter About Crypto and Kids
Senator Elizabeth Warren is demanding answers from MrBeast about his acquisition of Step, a teen-focused financial app. Before MrBeast bought it, Step published content coaching kids to pressure parents into crypto investments. Beast Industries has a $200M investment from an Ethereum company and a “MrBeast Financial” trademark that mentions crypto.
The concern: 40% of MrBeast’s audience is 13-17. His company has no financial services experience. Warren wants about a dozen questions answered by April 3rd, including whether Step will offer crypto to minors.

🎰 Insider Trading on Military Strikes? Prediction Markets Under Fire
One Polymarket trader won 93% of five-figure bets on secret U.S./Israeli strikes against Iran, placing them hours before unannounced operations. Eight more accounts bet $70,000 on a ceasefire for a potential $820,000 return. Blockchain analysts call it “strong signaling of insider activity.”
The conflict: Trump Jr. is invested in Polymarket and advises Kalshi. The administration killed two investigations into both platforms. Arizona just charged Kalshi. Nevada blocked them. A bipartisan Senate bill would classify prediction markets as gambling. Nobody has ever been charged for insider trading on these platforms.

TODAY’S QUIZ ANSWER:
United Kingdom
On March 25, 1807, the United Kingdom passed the Slave Trade Act, officially abolishing the transatlantic slave trade within the British Empire. This law made it illegal to transport enslaved people on British ships, marking a major step in the fight against slavery. The movement to end the trade had been led by activists and politicians such as William Wilberforce. Although slavery itself was not yet abolished, this act significantly reduced Britain’s involvement in the slave trade. The Royal Navy later enforced the law by patrolling the Atlantic Ocean to stop illegal trafficking. This milestone played an important role in the global abolition movement.
