Spain, Italy, and France have restricted U.S. military operations in response to the ongoing Iran war. President Trump indicated he may end the conflict even if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed, signaling frustration with limited allied support.
The Strait carries 20% of global oil, which is currently blocked. Gas is over $4 per gallon and oil is $114 per barrel. The disruption threatens U.S. and global economic stability while limiting the administration’s leverage.
The shift: Allies blocked airspace, bases, and ship escorts. Options include risky ground operations, strikes on civilian infrastructure, or walking away with the Strait still closed. Tens of thousands may face poverty across the region, and regional instability continues to mount.

📜 Supreme Court Rules Conversion Therapy as Protected Speech
