🏥 Trump Signs Order to Reduce and Split Childhood Vaccines
President Trump signed an executive order reshaping childhood vaccine guidance, calling for fewer routine shots and for the combined MMR vaccine to be split into three separate doses. He suggested giving all three at once could be dangerous for children.
The CDC hasn’t supported that claim, saying the combined shot is far safer than catching the diseases. The order also reflects the administration’s continued promotion of the debunked idea that vaccines are directly linked to autism.
The response: Medical professionals, including Senator and physician Bill Cassidy, called the order wrong and urged parents to trust their pediatricians. It comes days after Dr. Erica Schwartz was confirmed as CDC director, an early test of how she’ll handle the vaccine agenda.

💻 Right-Wing Media Uses AI to Turn Founders Into Podcast Guests
Right-wing commentators and organizations are using AI to turn the Founding Fathers into talking-head guests who echo modern conservative views. Glenn Beck, for one, has interviewed an AI-generated George Washington he calls “George AI,” built from a language model trained on historical texts he selected.
Beck says the tool avoids modern bias, but he still controls what it reads, what it’s asked, and how its answers get phrased. Critics say that lets creators manufacture historical authority for present-day arguments.
The broader effort: The White House partnered with PragerU on a Founders Museum featuring AI videos of historical figures, one of which has John Adams echoing pundit Ben Shapiro. Historians warn the format blurs what founders actually said with modern scripting.

⚖️ Lauren Boebert’s Son Arrested on Child Exploitation Charges
Tyler Boebert, the son of Rep. Lauren Boebert, was arrested on child sexual exploitation charges stemming from a 2024 case. According to an affidavit, a sexually explicit video involving then-18-year-old Tyler and a 17-year-old girl was shared on Instagram.
After the girl’s mother alerted police, the investigation expanded. Tyler acknowledged appearing in the video but said he didn’t record it and didn’t know it was being made. The girl disputed that account.
Where it stands: An affidavit describes an Instagram group chat of roughly 124 people that helped circulate the video. Tyler was jailed Sunday, released on a $10,000 bond, and is due in court August 19, with separate hearings next month. The case unfolds during his mother’s reelection campaign.
