⚖️ Tate Brothers Face 59 Charges After Miami Arrest
Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested by U.S. marshals in Miami on Saturday, more than a year after Andrew publicly challenged Florida officials to arrest him. The UK added new charges after four more alleged victims came forward, raising the brothers’ combined total to 59 charges, including rape and trafficking.
The arrest revives a case that collapsed in Romania on procedural grounds after the brothers’ travel ban was lifted, reportedly under pressure from Washington. Their attorney called it a political hit and suggested it wasn’t authorized by Justice Department leadership.
What’s next: A UK judge must approve extradition, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio would carry it out. Longtime allies like Tucker Carlson have gone quiet, while Nick Fuentes remains one of the few still defending them.

⚠️ US-Iran Conflict Escalates as Troop Deaths, Blockade Threats Mount
At least three U.S. service members were killed and hundreds more injured in strikes tied to the escalating war with Iran, with a possible fourth death unconfirmed. The Pentagon has also been accused of hiding dozens of additional injuries from attacks it never disclosed.
Iran has now suspended its commitments under the ceasefire memorandum, and a new Houthi blockade threat in the Bab al-Mandeb strait, alongside Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz, has pushed oil above $90 a barrel and U.S. gas back over $4 a gallon.
The pressure: An official told The Washington Post the Pentagon is “planning for a wider war” despite dwindling munitions. Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s response to the deaths, while Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the U.S. remains open to diplomacy.

🥬 FDA Apologizes to Taylor Farms as Parasite Outbreak Widens
The FDA has apologized to Taylor Farms after walking back its claim that the company’s lettuce caused a cyclosporiasis outbreak that has sickened at least 7,000 people. The agency said the conclusion was based on a false positive, and Taylor Farms had already recalled iceberg lettuce from Central Mexico.
The reversal leaves officials back at square one on what’s driving the surge. Taco Bell, also linked to the outbreak, already dropped some ingredients and switched suppliers, showing how the false lead rippled beyond one company’s bottom line.
The scale: Cyclospora cases have climbed for years, and this outbreak already outpaces 2019’s spike of about 4,700 cases nationwide. Michigan alone has logged more than 5,000 cases and over 100 hospitalizations, with no deaths reported so far.
