WORLD NEWS
🌐 Trump's Proposed Iran Deal Resembles the One He Called a Disaster

The Trump administration is reportedly proposing a 20-year suspension of Iranian nuclear enrichment, a significant retreat from the permanent ban promised during the 2024 campaign. Iran countered with a five-year freeze, mirroring its pre-conflict Geneva proposal.
The comparison to the Obama-era JCPOA is notable. Under that deal, Iran shipped out 97 percent of its uranium stockpile. Iran now holds roughly 970 pounds of near-bomb-grade uranium and is offering only dilution, not removal.
The complications: The U.S. naval blockade has shown gaps, with sanctioned vessels still passing through, while Saudi Arabia has raised concerns about potential retaliation against oil exports. Meanwhile, Israel-Lebanon talks have begun in Washington, even as recent strikes damaged a hospital in southern Lebanon, with the WHO reporting 14 hospitals affected and six now closed.

🧠 Former Officials and Allies Publicly Question Trump's Mental Fitness

Former White House lawyer Ty Cobb said Donald Trump is “clearly insane,” and former press secretary Stephanie Grisham said he is “clearly not well,” adding to a growing number of former aides and allies publicly questioning his mental fitness. The comments come after Trump criticized both media coverage and former supporters who have raised concerns about his behavior.
The debate has expanded beyond partisan criticism, with some Democrats and former officials also raising the issue of whether the 25th Amendment should be considered. Recent reporting has pointed to a series of public statements and actions that critics argue reflect increasingly erratic behavior, while the White House maintains that Trump remains fully capable.
The chorus: Several former allies, including Alex Jones, Candace Owens, and Marjorie Taylor Greene, have also voiced concerns about his mental state. Polling shows 61 percent of Americans believe Trump has become more erratic with age, while 49 percent say he is too old to serve as president.

:📈 Today’s Poll: Fitness File
Multiple former administration officials and current allies have raised public concerns about President Trump’s mental fitness, with former CIA Director John Brennan calling for the 25th Amendment to be invoked. Section 4 of that amendment, which allows removing a president against their will, has never been successfully used.
When former staff and current allies openly question a president’s mental fitness, what’s the best next step?

📜 Rick Scott Calls for Revoking Yale's Funding Over Hasan Piker Debate Invite

The Yale Political Union invited internet personality Hasan Piker to debate the resolution “End the American Empire.” Senator Rick Scott called on the federal government to immediately revoke Yale’s funding, citing Piker’s past statements and a prior Twitch ban.
Yale said it remains committed to free expression and defended the invitation. Piker noted the apparent contradiction: free speech advocates taking aim at a university for hosting debate.
The parallel: Meanwhile, Utah Valley University named Sharon McMahon as commencement speaker. McMahon had written in now-deleted posts that Charlie Kirk’s assassination “does not magically erase” his legacy. UVU’s TPUSA chapter and College Republicans called the selection insulting. Senator Mike Lee argued the invite would not have happened with reversed politics.

🧪 Science: Water can exist in three states at once under the right temperature and pressure. It’s called the “triple point,” and it’s basically matter multitasking.
🐝 Animals: Honeybees can recognize human faces. They’re tiny, but surprisingly good at remembering who bothered them.
🌍 Geography: Greenland is shrinking and rising at the same time, slowly reshaping as melting ice removes pressure from the land beneath. The world’s largest island literally redraws itself over time.
🤯 WTF: There is a type of jellyfish that can revert back to its juvenile form after aging, essentially resetting its life cycle like biological rewind.
