“People like it long.” 😂😂😂 What a way to end it! I actually would prefer if these were a little shorter. But I do enjoy them when I give myself the time.
It’s interesting you brought up TMZ’s pivoting in reporting they have been doing over, I would argue, the past year. It is weird to see a “gossip org.” doing standard reporting outside of entertainment that has actually been some pretty good journalism (they be workin overtime over there for the reasons you pointed out). I watched a video from a Scott McFarland & Katie Phang live from this morning and they were discussing this significant shift we are seeing in the space of legacy news media v. Independent journalism. With every fired legacy journalist moving to independent journalism it makes it so much more obvious how controlled/censored our legacy media has become and more trust in non-traditional news coverage. I think you get a more personable insight into news with independent coverage. It tends to seem more facts forward. It also isn’t held to a network standard/expectation where stories are edited to oblivion and misconstrued or completely killed. Journalists are actually more concerned about getting the truth to the people overall and less about breaking news first to report notoriety or the dollar/bottom line of a network.
